The Best Winter Picnic Spots around NelspruitMay 15, 2022

Now that the summer is well and truly behind us, this is the perfect time to get out into nature and soak up the warmth of the winter sun. With the intense heat gone and the rainy season no longer a worry, there are plenty of places close to Nelspruit where you can head out for the day and enjoy a picnic.

When you are planning your picnic adventure, one of the first things that you should do is to pack a picnic basket or to at least figure out more or less what you will want to take with you. The picnic basket staples include biscuits and chips, as well as dip, fruits and something to drink, but shopping around for that or having to bring along a picnic basket can be difficult when you are travelling. To make things easier, you can choose to order a picnic basket from one of the local restaurants offering such a service. To find out more about that, you can ask your lodge for suggestions or do a quick Google or Facebook search.

With your picnic bag packed, all you need is a place to tuck in, and we have some great suggestions for you.
